Coplin Jars (product code JA-CJ-1602) are glass staining jars that hold microscope slides upright in a small volume of stain or reagent. Slots moulded into the sides of the Coplin jar keep 5 slides standing vertically, or 10 when placed back-to-back, so each slide is covered evenly. The jar is made of soda-lime glass, has a 60 mm top diameter and takes about 60 mL of stain, for histology, pathology, biology and microbiology laboratories.
