Construction & Design
This centrifuge features soft-touch keypads for fast and accurate setting of run parameters (speed, time, temperature, brake and acceleration), and is fitted with a brushless induction motor with frequency drive. A unique automatic rotor identification system ensures accurate speed setting for individual rotors. Safety is provided through an over-current and overheating cutoff circuit, and a safety lid interlock that prevents the rotor from running with the cover open, and prevents the cover from opening until the rotor has come to a complete halt. Control is via a user-friendly, menu-driven microprocessor with interactive LCD display, offering 10-programme memory, a choice of high brake, low brake and coasting, speed-holding accuracy of 100 RPM, and self-diagnosis for errors.
