A hand-operated gear drive moves the Earth around the Sun and the Moon around the Earth in synchronous revolution, demonstrating rotation, revolution, day and night, the tilt of the axis, and the phases and eclipses of the Moon. The sun sphere, at least 6 inches across, is lit and has a hole that focuses a beam onto the globe.
