The Tong Beaker (SKU JL-LEP-10248) is used to hold heated beakers. These beaker tongs have a scissor-like body of 1/4 inch (6.35 mm) smooth-finish nickel-plated steel, a flat riveted joint and plastic-coated jaws that grip the glass securely. At a minimum length of 254 mm they keep the hand away from the heat, and they hold beakers from 50 mL up to 1000 mL. They belong beside every burner in school and college chemistry.
