The Geiger Tube Holder (SKU JA-APE-9402) is a ready-to-use detector assembly for Geiger counters: a tube holder with a GM tube of type MX168 already fitted, a cable and a BNC plug, supplied connected and tested. As a Geiger tube holder with GM tube and BNC cable, it lets the detector be positioned close to a source or absorber on the bench while the counter stays at a distance, as most radioactivity practicals require.
