Joints, Spherical, Male (product code JA-SDAJ-1670) are the ball halves of ball-and-socket glass connections. Each male spherical joint has a ground glass ball on a 100 mm shank, ready for a glassblower to fuse into apparatus, and it seats in a female spherical joint of the same S size. The ball can swivel slightly in its socket, which takes up misalignment in long glass lines. Sizes S13 to S51 are listed, plus an S13 capillary bore version.
